If you are interested in growing your organization’s fundraising program then you have come to the right place.

I focus on working with small to medium-size nonprofits to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy. My goal is to help each nonprofit find the most effective and cost-efficient way to raise money, identifying and targeting prospects that would be most likely to fund its mission.

Most of my clients have been organizations working in the arts, media, human services and women’s issues, although I have had clients representing almost every field. I have helped dozens of organizations in the Greater Bay Area and other parts of California to increase and diversify their funding for operations and special projects.

I believe in providing individualized, tailored assistance, helping each of my clients in the way that is the most effective for them, rather than using a "one-size-fits-all" approach. I bring to the table nearly twenty years of experience in the San Francisco non-profit sector in the capacities of executive director, senior manager and development director, and I am very familiar with the San Francisco and California funding community.

I specialize in:

* Helping an organization to develop an overall fundraising strategy that integrates all aspects of the fundraising program to work in tandem with each other.
* Researching, developing and writing proposals for foundations and government institutions, including conceptualizing and articulating your organization and your programs for diverse funders.
* Building or expanding an individual donor program, including direct mail, major donor acquisition and stewardship, and electronic campaigns.
* Training new fundraising staff.

Because I work for myself, rather than a large consulting firm, I am able to offer my services at rates that are very affordable. I prefer to work with an organization over a period of time, but am open to single projects if I am able to accommodate them.
